Redemptio
Privacy choices & data deletion
You control the optional permissions and game data on your device.
Turn off location
Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Redemptio. Choose Never to stop location access, or turn off Precise Location to use approximate positioning. Menu wording can vary by iOS version. Without access, the game can use a demonstration location.
Disconnect Apple Health
In the Health app, open your profile and its Apps or Apps and Services section, select Redemptio, and turn off Steps read access. You can also find Health permissions in iOS privacy settings. Revocation stops future reads; it does not erase already earned rewards or original Health records.
Delete local game data
- Open Settings → General → iPhone Storage or iPad Storage.
- Select Redemptio.
- Choose Delete App and confirm. Offload App keeps saved data.
Deleting the app removes its current local save, including player details, sanctuary progress, resources, and step-reward counters. The game has no account to delete. Reinstalling normally starts a new game; restoring a device backup may restore previous data. Manage any backup copies separately in Apple’s backup settings. Health records remain in Apple Health and can be managed there.
Data held by services or support
Deleting Redemptio does not automatically erase map or weather provider logs. Contact the relevant provider through its privacy policy for requests concerning those records. For support messages or a privacy question, email rodrigoqsandler@gmail.com. We will handle information within our control and explain any applicable retention requirements.
